Konawaena scores second-most points in state history


Konawaena's 91 points against Kau Friday night is the second-most points scored by one team in Hawai'i prep football history.

The Wildcats beat the Trojans, 91-8, Friday night.

The most points scored by one team was in 1923, when Kamehameha beat Honolulu Military Academy, 104-0. It stands as the only 100-point game. HMA played in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu from 1917 to 1923.
