HALAWA - Keoni Tom-Millare accounted for four touchdowns to lead Pac-Five to a 40-12 win over Damien in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu game at Hawaiian Airlines Field at Aloha Stadium Friday night.

The Wolf Pack snapped a four-game losing streak to improve to 2-4 overall and 1-1 in the ILH with the win, while the Monarchs suffered their second straight loss to fall to 3-2 overall and 0-2 in the ILH.

Tom-Millare, a senior running back, scored three rushing touchdowns and also had a 76-yard reception for another score for Pac-Five. He carried 18 times for 58 yards and caught four passes for 97 yards.

The Wolf Pack got on the board before its offense took the field. Nohea Thomsen halted Damien's 10-play game-opening drive with a 78-yard interception return for touchdown with six minutes and 48 seconds left in the first quarter. Gabriel Shimizu added the extra point to put Pac-Five ahead early, 7-0.

Damien answered on the final play of the first quarter when Syles Choy hit Bryson Dalmacio for a 41-yard touchdown pass. The PAT was no good and the Wolf Pack lead was cut to 7-6.

Three plays later, Tom-Millare turned a short pass in the right flat from Cody Kim into a spectacular 76-yard touchdown. After he hauled in the pass, Tom-Millare made two Monarchs miss before hurdling another near the right sideline. He then cut back in toward the middle of the field en route to the end zone. The Shimizu kick with 11:28 left in the second quarter, made the score, 14-6.

Choy was picked off for a second time on the Monarchs' next drive - this time by Nicholas Kwon - who returned it 20 yards to the Wolf Pack 44-yard line. A roughing the punter penalty against Damien extended the Pac-Five drive and Kim found Roycen Routt for a 33-yard scoring strike on a fourth-and-1 play. Routt, who was in the middle of four defenders when he caught the pass, outsprinted the defense the last 15 yards to the end zone. With 4:09 left in the half, Shimizu's extra-point kick extended the Pac-Five lead to 21-6.

The Wolf Pack added a score late in the first half on a 1-yard run by Tom-Millare. Out of the wildcat formation,

Tom-Millare followed the blocks of fullbacks Noah Oleyer and Kekoa Iseri and plunged into the end zone. The scoring play was set-up by a 75-yard halfback pass from Tom-Millare to Brennan Tsubasa two plays earlier. The PAT was blocked to give Pac-Five a 27-6 lead at halftime.

A Damien touchdown on a 7-yard pass from Choy to Kealii Kaanapu midway through the third quarter pulled the Monarchs to within 27-12, but Tom-Millare capped the Wolf Pack's ensuing drive with his third score on a 27-yard run. Shimizu tacked on the PAT to make the score, 34-6, after three quarters.

Pac-Five added a late score on a 1-yard Tom-Millare run with 3:27 remaining.

Kyle Sato hd 98 rushing yards on 20 carries for Damien, which committed 12 penalties for 116 yards and was just 6-of-16 on third downs. Choy finished with 206 passing yards on 18-of-31 passing.
