Punahou clinic brings 'The Wooden Way' to Hawaii

Over a hundred participants attended the John R. Wooden Course Basketball Camp, held for the first time ever in Hawaii at Punahou's Hemmeter Fieldhouse.

The four day course focused on individual skills training and personal evaluation, as well as imparting on participants John Wooden's on-court team fundamentals and off-court philosophies.

The camp was led by Coach Craig Impelman, a former assistant basketball coach at UCLA, Pepperdine, Weber State and St. Mary's University, along with current Punahou head coaches Darren Matsuda and Kekoa Taliaferro.
