Punahou sweeps ILH track and field titles


 



Punahou swept both the boys and girls team titles at the ILH track and field championships at Kamehameha's Kunuiakea Stadium.

On the boys side, Punahou's Isaac Savaiinaea was a two-event winner, claiming both the discus throw and shot put titles, as was Hanalani's Jonathan Melton, taking the top spot in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes.

Two-event winners for the girls included, Christine Tsai, who took home both the triple jump and high jump titles for Punahou, Pac-Five's Hannah Sherrill who won the discus and shot put events, Iolani's Abrianna Johnson-Edwards, who won both the 100 meter and 300 meter hurdles, and Christian Academy's Raion Black, who took top honors in both the 100 meter and 200 meter dashes.
