Moanalua jumped out to early lead en route to a 59-47 win over Pearl City, and a spot in the Division I state tournament.

With the score 9-8 after one period of play, Na Menehune broke out in the second stanza, doubling up on Pearl City, 16-8, to take a 25-16 lead into halftime.

Kahanu Puulei-Auld had 13 points and Eliet Donley added 10 more to lead Moanalua, who qualified for their fifth state tournament appearance in the last six years.

Kailon Sabate and Paul Perry III combined for 31 of the Chargers' 47 points in the loss.
