Punahou took an early 15-6 lead in the first quarter and rolled to a 52-39 win over Maryknoll, improving to 2-1 in ILH play.

The Buffanblu got a game-high 14 points from guard Nick Velasquez, including 3 three-pointers, one of them coming at the buzzer to end the third period that extended the lead to ten.

Malik Johnson added 12 points for Punahou.

Maryknoll fell to 1-2 on the season with the loss.
