Curtis Tavares scored 22 points and Joshua Wills added 20 more to lead the Hurricanes to a 67-52 win over Campbell to open OIA West play.

The Sabers led at halftime 24-23, but Kapolei went on a 27-5 run in the third quarter to blow the game open.

Aaron Steele led Campbell with 16 points.
