Lahainaluna leads Konawaena, 14-6, at halftime


Lahainaluna's defense scored one touchdown and got another turnover to account for the other in taking a 14-6 lead over Konawaena at halftime of the opening round of the First Hawaiian Bank Division II football tournament at War Memorial Football Stadium.

Ryan Delatori returned a fumble 61 yards for the first score of the game and Jared Rocha scored on a 12-yard run that was set up by one of three interceptions by Scott Medeiros-Tangatailoa in the first half.

The Wildcats scored on a 12-yard TD pass from Lii Karratti to Austin Denis to pull them to 14-6.
