Tai Manu-Olevao put down 14 kills with two blocks and Brittney Markwith added seven kills with two blocks to lead Punahou to a sweep over Kamehameha-Maui in one semifinal of the New City Nissan/Hawaii High School Athletic Association Division I Girls Volleyball State Championships at McKinley's Student Council Gymnasium Friday night.

The scores were 25-14, 25-18, 25-18 sweep of Kamehameha-Maui.

Tayler Higgins had 37 assists for the Buffanblu, who hit .348 for the match. Katherine Brooks had 10 digs for Punahou.

Sienna Davis led the Warriors with seven kills, who hit just .086 for the match.

Punahou, the tournament's top seed and Interscholastic League of Honolulu champion, will play ILH runner-up Kamehameha in Saturday's title game, 7 p.m. at the Blaisdell Arena.
