PEARL CITY - Po'okela Ka'alekahi's solo home run to left broke a 2-all game in the top of the sixth inning and Campbell beat Pearl City, 4-2, Wednesday in O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red West baseball at the Chargers' field

Ka'alekahi's smash over the left-field fence backed the strong pitching of Robert Kahana, who helped his own cause with a triple in the fourth that led to the Sabers' first run and tied the game at 1. The right-handed Kahana allowed two runs, three hits and struck out seven in the complete-game performance.

Jaris Flora added an RBI double later in the sixth for an insurance run.

The Sabers improved to 5-4, while the first-place Chargers fell to 7-2. The teams meet again at 3 p.m. Saturday at Campbell.
