Bronson Shim struck out 10 over 5 2/3 innings and Na Menehune pounded out 13 runs on 11 hits to top Roosevelt, 13-3, to win their OIA Red season opener.

James Higa went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI's and 2 doubles, Jordan Deponte added 2 more RBI's, and Regan Lum hit a 2-run home run in the 6th, invoking the 10-run mercy rule to end the game.
