Host Mid-Pacific topped Kapaa, 12-0, in an opening round pool game of the 31st MPI/Richard Kitamura Baseball Tournament.

'Iolani, Leilehua and Saint Louis also won their respective matchups.

Pool play continues today with all games starting at 4:00 p.m.
