WAIPAHU -- Robert Connors scored in the fifth minute and added another goal three minutes later to help Honoka'a defeat Radford, 2-0, in the JN Automotive/Hawaii High School Athletic Association Boys Soccer Division II State Championship quarterfinals.

The No. 1 seeded and Big Island Interscholastic Federation DII champ Dragons improved to 9-2-2 in the regular and postseason and will face No. 4 seed and Maui Interscholastic League Division II champion St. Anthony (6-6-1) in today's 3 p.m. semifinal at Field 11.

The Rams fell to 7-3-3 and into today's 3 p.m. consolation bracket game against Mid-Pacific (2-8-1) on Field 9.

KAPA'A 3, KONAWAENA 1

The No. 2 seed and Kauai Interscholastic Federation champion Warriors got goals from Joshua Cram (21st minute), Matt Domingcil (47th) and Max Goode (64th) to advance to today's 3 p.m. semifinal against Hawaii Prep (7-5-2) on Field 12.

Konawaena got a goal from Jaryt Takimoto in the 67th minute but fell to 7-3-3 and into today's 3 p.m. consolation bracket game against No. 3 seed and O'ahu Interscholastic Association White Conference champ Waipahu (7-3-4) on Field 10.

ST. ANTHONY 1, MID-PACIFIC 0 (PK, 3-1)

Jeremy Maeda, Bryce Mizoguchi and Chris Maeda each scored penalty kicks to lift the Trojans after two scoreless overtime periods.

Zachary Love scored the lone penalty kick goal for the Owls.

HAWAI'I PREP 3, WAIPAHU 1

Malachi Kobayashi scored in the 20th and 48th minutes and Nathan Adams added a goal in the 51st minute to help Ka Makani run past the Marauders, who got a goal from Mikel Garduke in the 65th minute.
