Leilehua, Kalaheo to play for OIA White title


West third seed Leilehua upset West top seed Radford Wednesday in a semifinal of the O'ahu Interscholastic Association White tournament at Kailua.

The Mules advance to Saturday's title game against East top seed Kalaheo, 5:30 p.m. at Roosevelt. Both have secured spots in the Division II state tournament.

The Mustangs advanced by beating Waipahu, 2-0, Wednesday. Danielle Ferguson and Jordyn Rey scored for Kalaheo.

In the Mules' win, Roseanne Dumlao and Cierra Tibayan scored.

In the OIA Red tournament quarterfinals, Mililani beat Kalani, 3-0, and Kaiser edged Pearl City, 1-0, in games at Mililani.

Meanwhile, Kapolei beat Kahuku, 1-0, and Moanalua beat Roosevelt, 2-0, in games at Moanalua.

In semifinals Thursday at Roosevelt, Mililani will play Kaiser at 5:30 p.m. with Moanalua taking on Kapolei at 7 p.m.
