The Monarchs played the Dolphins nearly even in the first half, but Kona Makaula's 12 points and tough second-half defense carried AOP to a 47-20 victory over Damien.

Micah Dunhour and Wilson Macleod scored 8 points and Moritz Krume 7 for the Dolphins, who improved to an ILH Division I leading 6-1 record.

The Monarchs got 9 points from guard Dylan Yonamine-Baysa in the loss.
