Punahou Invitational title game at UH


The Punahou School boys' basketball invitational runs Monday through Wednesday.

All games will be held at the Hemmeter Fieldhouse with the championship to be played at the University of Hawai'i's Stan Sheriff Center, 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

The title game will be between games of the opening round of the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic. Admission to the Punahou Invitational title game is free, according to the school's press release.

Here is the opening-round schedule of the tournament on Monday:

3 p.m. Maryknoll vs. Melbourne Grammar High (Australia)
4:30 p.m. McKinley vs. Kamehameha-Hawai'i
6 p.m. Punahou II vs. Mid-Pacific
7:30 p.m. Punahou vs. Kalani

Tuesday's games have the same starting times.

Wednesday's games are as follows at Punahou:

9 a.m. Seventh-place game
10:30 a.m. Consolation game
Noon Third-place game

2 p.m. Championship at the Stan Sheriff Center (free).

Tickets for the tournament at Punahou are $5 for adults, $4 for senior citizens and $3 for students. Punahou students will be admitted free with school ID.
