Kahuku squeaked past Campbell, 21-19, Saturday afternoon for the O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red JV championship at Carelton E. Weimer Athletic Field.

The JV title comes a day after the varsity had to forfeit the OIA Red championship and state tournament berth. Although there were still sign-waving Kahuku supporters on the street fronting the school, there were no incidents reported at the JV game, officials said.

Meanwhile, Kalaheo beat Waipahu, 25-12, for the OIA White crown at Kailua High school.
