HHSAA announces 44th Hall of Honor class






Twelve student-athletes from 10 different schools and representing three of the state's leagues make up the 2026 class of the Hawaii High School Athletic Association Hall of Honor.

The group — made up of five boys and seven girls — was chosen by a 13-person selection committee made up of current and former sports reporters, coaches and athletic directors. Each individual will receive a $2,000 scholarship courtesy of Enterprise Holdings.

The induction class, in alphabetical order, is as follows:

  • Alika Ahu, University Lab/PAC-5 (Baseball, Basketball)
  • Hunter Berger, Saint Louis (Wrestling)
  • Nihoa Dunn, Kamehameha (Basketball)
  • Ashlyn Jacobsen, Campbell (Cross Country, Track and Field)
  • Kekama Kane, Iolani (Football, Soccer)
  • Layden Kauka, Kohala (Basketball)
  • Destiny Look, Mid-Pacific (Soccer, Track, Volleyball)
  • James Millare, Moanalua (Cross Country, Track)
  • Chloe Obuhanych, Pearl City (Air Riflery, Wrestling, Judo)
  • Synnove Robinson, Punahou (Cross Country, Swimming, Water Polo)
  • Zaira Sugui, Moanalua (Flag Football, Judo, Wrestling)
  • Journei Webster, Punahou (Swimming)

A traditional awards dinner will be held on Sunday, May 31 at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel. More information on purchasing tickets for the dinner will be posted on https://hhsaa.org/resources/students/hall_of_honor.

It is the 44th consecutive year the Hall of Honor has recognized the top 12 senior student-athletes in the state. A complete list of inductees, dating back to the inaugural class of 1983, can be found here.
