Nihoa Dunn scored 20 points but it wasn't enough to help Kamehaemha get by visiting Saint Mary's (Stockton, Calif.) on the first day of the Iolani Classic girls basketball tournament Thursday afternoon. 

Aynya Hardy and Kori Rogers tallied 16 points apiece to help the Rams hold off the Warriors by a score of 52-43. 

Rylee Paranada and Andrea Porreca contributed nine points each for Kamehameha, which shot 13 of 18 from the free-throw line. 

Saint Mary's led 29-26 at halftime. 

The Rams will play South Medford (Ore.) in a 6:30 p.m. semifinal Friday at Iolani's Lower Gym. 

South Medford was led by Jordan Barlow's 20-point performance in a 55-42 win over Campbell Thursday. 

Mayenabasi Akpan and Dyllyn Howell added 11 points apiece for the Panthers. 

Jaynalyn Sotelo scored 11 points, Makana Kamakeeaina had nine and Charissa Curran eight for the Sabers. 

South Medford led 20-13 at halftime and stretched it to a 42-22 cushion after three quarters. 

The 8 p.m. semifinal will feature Carondelet (Concord, Calif.) taking on host Iolani. 

Thalia Pham and Niylah Christopher led the Cougars with 16 points apiece in their 57-41 win over Konawaena Thursday, while Justice Kekauoha paced the Raiders with 13 points in their 47-28 win over Moanalua.
