Wilson's strong second half fuels Mules past Buffanblu

Four players scored in double figures to help Leilehua hold off Punahou, 76-72, on the final day of the James Alegre Invitational Saturday morning. 

Tyree Wilson poured in 17 of his team-high 20 points after halftime, Cobe Wyatt had 13 of his 17 points in the first half, Trystin Stevens made three 3-pointers and finished with 16 points and Chaysen Montayre contributed 11 points for the Mules. 

Tanoa Scanlan scored 13 of his game-high 21 points in the fourth quarter and Zion White had 12 points to pace the Buffanblu. Ethan Chung made two of his team's three 3-pointers and finished with eight points. Tate Takamiya also notched eight points in the loss. 

Punahou shot just 5 of 14 from the free-throw line, while Leilehua was 9 of 16 from the charity stripe. 

The Mules led at the half, 38-35. 

In other Alegre Invitational games Saturday, Radford beat Lahainaluna, 45-40, Mililani pulled away from Honokaa, 70-42, Iolani held off Kekaulike, 55-50, and Mid-Pacific defeated Roosevelt, 51-32.
