Final 1 2 3 4 T
UNLV 12 0 10 729
Hawaii 7 3 10 727

Hawaii came up just short in a 29-27 loss to UNLV, halting its win streak at two games.

Trailing 29-20, Warriors' Brayden Schager connected on a 62 yard pass to Nick Cenacle, then capped the drive with a five yard touchdown pass to Jonah Panoke in the back-left corner of the end zone to trim the deficit to just two.

Hawaii would not get a chance at the win, however, as UNLV was able to string together a pair of first downs on its final drive to seal the deal.

Schager completed 14 of 35 passes for 282 and three scores, and his favorite target on the evening, Panoke, had six grabs for 90 yards and two TDs.

UNLV got a big game from QB Hajj-Malik Williams, who passed for 175 yards and a TD, and added 122 rushing yards and another score.
