After a 1-3 start to the season, Leilehua is riding high.
The Mules secured the top seed in the OIA Division I playoffs by ending the regular season on a six-game winning streak after besting Pearl City Friday night, 31-8, at Edwin "Bino" Neves Stadium.
Leilehua (7-3 overall, 6-1 OIA) took a 28-0 lead into halftime before cruising to the road win over the Chargers and will host fourth-seeded Waianae on Nov. 1.
Cameron Keeve ran for 226 yards and one touchdown on just six carries in the win to lead the way while quarterback Bennett Strobel tossed two TDs.
Pearl City (0-9, 0-7) avoided the shutout in the third quarter on Ikaika Torres' 28-yard TD pass to Javian Mizuno.
