Radford's defense scored twice and quarterback Afi Togafau threw for 173 yards and added two TD runs in a 32-7 win over Redlands (Ca.), the nightcap of a doubleheader at John E. Velsaco Stadium.
Togafau put the Rams up early with a 13 yard keeper at the 6:04 mark, and scored his other rushing TD to end the third.
He completed 11 of 21 passes to six different receivers.
The Rams' defense chipped in two scores of its own, the first a 3 yard fumble return for a TD by Juju Sagapolutele in the second quarter and the other a 24 yard pick-six by Hiram Hendri to start the fourth.
Zeke Schulz capped off the Rams' scoring with a three yard run with 6:44 left in the contest, kicked a pair of extra points and also led the team with eight total tackles.
Kainela Hao-Hose had four tackles, a sack and a forced fumble, and Franky Komiti added three tackles and two sacks.
The Terriers were led by Teddy McGee who had 17 carries for 111 yards and five catches for 41 more, both team highs. He also scored the lone TD for Redlands with 3:43 remaining in the fourth from 10 yards away.
Radford will play its final non-league game on the road, where it will face Skyview High School (Vancouver, Wa.) on Sept. 6.
In the early game at Radford High School, Kamehameha-Maui battled Beaumont (Ca.) in a close contest, falling 19-16 to the Cougars in game that came down to the final play, a missed field goal by the Warriors that would have tied the contest.
