The Waialua football team took what it wanted Friday night.
The Bulldogs recorded five interceptions and scored on two picks in a 39-6 homecoming win over McKinley in an OIA Division II contest at Toshiyuki Nakasone Field.
Jayvie Arellano caught six passes for 100 yards and a 16-yard score to lead Waialua offensively in the win as the Bulldogs improved to 3-4 overall and 2-3 in league play.
Makoakai Fierro was also key with 76 rushing yards and a 1-yard touchdown on 14 carries. Fierro also booted field goals from 41 and 35 yards out and completed a 16-yard pass to convert on a fake punt.
