Taimane Souza-Fautanu threw a touchdown pass and ran for two other scores to help Roosevelt rally to a 24-17 win over Kalaheo Thursday night. 

The Rough Riders (3-3) overcame a 17-0 first-quarter deficit with 24 second-half points to get by the Mustangs (2-2) in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Division II game at Ticky Vasconcellos Stadium. 

Souza-Fautanu ran for 146 yards on 18 carries and threw for another 46 yards in the win. His 24-yard touchdown pass to Dayton Tilton got Roosevelt on the board with eight minutes and one seconds left in the third quarter. 

Souza-Fautanu cut into the Kalaheo lead with his 29-yard TD run early in the final quarter. Journry Deperalta's 22-yard field goal with 6:12 left to play tied the score at 17 apiece before Souza-Fautanu put his team ahead for good with 36 seconds left with his 5-yard TD run.
