Jacob Sullivan 76 yd 1 TD

Kapolei rebounded from a season-opening loss to Saint Louis in a big way, scoring early and often in a 63-14 win over Radford, the nightcap of doubleheader at the Hurricanes' home field.

The Hurricanes wasted no time in putting up points on the board, literally, as each of its first three plays from scrimmage resulted in scores.

Quarterback Liatama Amisone factored into each of those scores, finding Kaina Kamohalii and Tristen Inay on 20 yard pitch-and-catches for touchdowns, then calling his own number on an 84 yard keeper that made it a 21-0 game at the 4:54 mark of the first.

Amisone was both efficient and lethal, finishing the evening completing 15-of-17 passes for 292 yards and six touchdowns in just one half of play.

Radford finally got something going in the late stages of the second quarter, capping a nice drive with a 10 yard pass from Bezeiah Togafau to Jacob Sullivan to get the Rams on the scoreboard to make it a 42-7 contest, but Animsone's sixth scoring toss, this one to Noah Gould from nine yards away with just 11 seconds left until halftime, padded the lead back to 42 and ensured running clock in the second half.

Kapolei outgained Radford 460 to 196 in total offense and averaged 13.7 yards per pass and 7.7 per rush.
