Radford beat out Moanalua 2-1 in overtime in the first round of the OIA Playoffs.
Na Menehune scored the opening goal right after the start of the second half whistle. A ball bounced untouched from the right side of the field, finding a wide open Quynn Thomas, who slotted home an easy tap in.
The Rams would respond in the 60th minute when Robert Wilson intercepted a long punt. Wilson trapped the ball at the halfline, cared it 20 yards, and ripped a shot over the outstretched keeper.
The golden goal was scored by Robert Lundquist in the 85th minute. Lundquist collected a ball from 30 yards out and hit a long range effort into the top right corner of the goal to end the game. The Rams will face #1 Kalani at Farrington tomrrow night at 7:00 pm.
Kailua took care of business on their home turf by defeating Pearl City 2-0.
In the 31st minute, Jaybee Penuliar hit a long ball towards goal. The keeper came out late and Connor Reece pushed the ball to the right and into the open net.
The Surfriders put the nail in the coffin in the 70th minute when Brody Person headed in Reece's cornerkick from close range. Kailua will take on Kapolei in the opening quarterfinal round at Farrington.
