Aiea notched its second win in league play, knocking off Kailua, 13-7, Saturday night at Radford High School's John E. Velasco Stadium.
Scoreless through one half of play, Na Alii finally broke through early in the third quarter with Ezekiel Olie connecting with Jayden Chanel on a 19 yard score, and Bryson Boyea Quiton's extra point gave Aiea a 7-0 advantage.
Later in the quarter, Olie tacked on what would be a much neeeded insurance score, finding his other favorite target, Geronimo Ulgaran, for a 10 yard score. A failed PAT made the score 13-0.
Kailua rallied to put a touchdown of its own on the board to close out the third, as Koyo Kekauoha punched one in on the ground from 5 yards out, and Kai Fraser booted through the extra point to close gap to 13-7, but that was as close the Surfriders would get.
Olie finished the evening with 275 yards and two scores on 20 of 35 passes completed. Ulgaran led all pass catchers with five grabs for 114 yards and Chanel added six receptions for 90 yards. Both receivers have hauled in five passes for touchdowns this season thus far.
Kekauoha carried the ball 17 times for 63 yards and added two receptions for 22 more yards to lead Kailua.
