Ofa Vehikite ran for 209 yards and three touchdowns to lead Kaimuki to 69-20 rout of McKinley at Roosevelt's Ticky Vasconcellos Stadium Friday night.
The Bulldogs (2-2 overall, 2-1 OIA D2) bulldozed their way for 385 rushing yards as a team and 606 total yards in the blowout of the Tigers (0-4, 0-3).
Vehikite registered only nine carries, but still went over 200 rushing yards for the third consecutive game. He opened the scoring with a 73-yard touchdown run just 21 seconds into the contest. Vehikite also found the end zone on runs of 85 and 23 yards before halftime. He also caught a 68-yard TD pass that was part of a 28-point second quarter for Kaimuki.
Quarterback Iosefa Letuli threw for 221 yards and three touchdowns on 8-of-12 passing with one interception.
Jeremiah White and Dante Peltier were also on the receiving end of TD passes from Letuli and the Bulldogs also got a defensive score via Josiah Luaifoa's 24-yard fumble return for touchdown late in the first quarter.
Api Togafau threw a pair of touchdown passes to Tanner Hiromasa for McKinley. Preston Note recorded nine catches for 106 yards in the loss.
Both teams have a bye next week. Kaimuki will visit Waialua on Sept. 16 and McKinley will take on Kalani the following night.
