Deion Jones led of the top of the first inning with a double to center field after sitting on three balls and one strike. He would later score off an error on the Hurricanes' third baseman.

Jiovanni Tafisi scored Kapolei's first run of the game in the bottom of the second after getting on with a one-out double. He would later score off an error by the Sabers' center fielder.

Campbell scored three runs in the top of the third to take the lead for good. Cason Eliptico-Quinata scored the go-ahead run off a passed ball with two outs. A single by Kayne Carlos drove in Dallas Alapai and Shaun-Lee Saito to put Campbell up, 4-1.

Xavier Streadbeck earned the pitching win, scattering six hits with three strikeouts in five innings of work.
