Leila Hannemann scored 12 points, knocking down eight of her 14 free throws, to help Kahuku beat visiting Leilehua in the opening round of the OIA Division I girls basketball tournament Wednesday night.

The Red Raiders advance and will travel to take on Campbell, the No. 1 seed from the West, Thursday night in a 6:30 p.m. contest.

Tehani Docktor had seven points to lead the Mules in their season-ending loss.
