Top Performers Flashback: Tsubasa Brennan

ORIGINAL STORY: Pac-Five's Brennan, Pearl City's Takaki named top performers

PAC-5 beat Saint Francis in a 37-0 shutout on Sept. 27, 2013 to pick-up their first win of 2013  and Tsubasa Brennan factored largely into their success. He caught seven passes for a season-high 137 yards and caught a 29-yard, second-quarter touchdown reception.

Brennan had six grabs for 120 yards by halftime and averaged 15.1 yards per catch for the game.

With his team shorthanded in the defensive secondary, Brennan was also summoned to help at safety in the second quarter of Saturday's game and played both ways the rest of the way.

As a junior, Brennan ranked amongst the top 10 pass catchers in yards (8th), receptions (9th), yards per game (9th) and touchdowns (8th). He was named an All-Hawaii Division II Second Team selection at receiver and also garnered Honorable Mention honors in the ILH.

His senior year saw him eclipse the 1100 yard mark with 89 receptions and 11 touchdowns, all leading marks amongst Divsion II players. Brennan was named to the All-Hawaii Division II First Team at wide receiver and also garnered ILH First Team recognition at all-purpose.
