» ORIGINAL GAME RECAP: Fourth quarter surge lifts 'Iolani over Pac-Five, 16-10

Defensive back Max Look had a 57-yard punt return and recovered a late fumble that led to the game-winning score to help Iolani rally to a 16-10 win over Pac-Five in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu opener on Aug. 31, 2012.

Off of a short Pac-Five punt, Look picked up the ball off a bounce at his own 43-yard line, broke through an initial opening to the left sideline and went untouched to the end zone.

Following the Jordan Genovia extra point, the Raiders went for an onside kick, but the Wolf Pack's Nohea Thomsen recovered. However, on a fourth-and-1 from the Iolani 42, the shotgun snap went through the hands of quarterback Reece Alvarado and Look fell on the loose ball at the Raiders' 33 to give his team possession with 2:38 to play.

Iolani quarterback Reece Foy hit Tanner Nishioka on a third-and-1 and two plays later, he found Austin Ohira for a 10-yard pick-up down to the Pac-Five 8-yard line. Three plays later, Foy connected with Nishioka on a quick slant for an 8-yard touchdown and the go-ahead score. Genovia tacked on the PAT to make the score 14-10 with 1:14 remaining.

Pac-Five had a final chance after it got the ball back with 1:06 left, but a high snap over Alvarado's head on third-and-20 sailed deep into Wolf Pack territory and Esau Sele tackled Alvarado in end zone for a safety.

Iolani recovered the ensuing onside kick attempt and ran out the clock.

Keoni Tom-Millare, who rushed for a game-high 160 yards, scored on a 12-yard run late in the first quarter and Gabriel Shimizu added a 33-yard second-half field goal to give Pac-Five a 10-0 lead after three quarters of play.
