A battle between two ranked teams turned into a runaway as the match went on.

No. 6 Kahuku pulled away from No. 10 Waianae in straight sets for a 25-18, 25-15, 25-14 win Thursday night at Mililani's gymnasium in the OIA Division I quarterfinals.

Tylor Iosua put down 13 kills and Savannah Taosoga added 11 more to power the Red Raiders (11-1) into the second semifinal at Moanalua Monday night, where they will face reigning league champ Mililani in a rematch of last year's title match.

Shania Kepoo-Caspino had 13 kills to lead the Seariders (9-3) in the loss.
