Kaiser took to the air to take down Nanakuli, 45-14, on senior night.

Junior Mason Yoshino recorded eight grabs for 146 yards and three receiving touchdowns, while senior Jesse Stroede added five receptions for 97 yards and a score. Kamakana Mahiko and Dre Falls were on the receving end of scoring strikes as well.

Yoshino's brother Easton started the game at quarterback and put up a lofty 294 yards of passing and four scores before exiting the contest in the waning seconds of the second quarter following a big hit on a pass attempt. He did not return in the second half.

His replacement, Brock Perreira, wasted no time adding to the aerial scoring, hitting Mason Yoshino on his first attempt for an 18 yard score to put the Cougars up 35-7 at the intermission.

Perreira, who finished the evening with 69 passing yards and two scores, extended the lead to 42-7 on a nine yard scoring strike to Stroede, invoking a running clock at the 9:19 mark of the third quarter.

Nanakuli struck back on a 50 yard pitch and catch from Sedric Crawford to Keola Bright to trim the final margin to 31 with 10:22 to go in the game.

The Cougars held the Golden Hawks to 160 yards of total offense, and just 54 rushing yards on 27 carries, while racking up 405 yards of total offense of their own, including 363 yards through the air.

Tahj Hauhio scored on a 15 yard scamper and rushed for a team-high 74 yards for Nanakuli.

Kaiser (8-1-0) closes out the regular season on Oct. 11 against Kalaheo at Kailua's Alex Kane Field while Nanakuli (5-4-0) hosts Roosevelt on Oct. 12.
