Jake Holtz accounted for four total scores to power tenth-ranked Damien over host Radford, 34-12, in an interleague contest at John E. Velasco Stadium Thursday night.
Holtz threw for 247 yards and three touchdowns, with two of his scoring passes going to Jarvis Natividad. He also added a 55-yard TD on the ground after Radford made it a 7-6 game in the first quarter.
Makanalea Meyer also caught a TD pass and Amo Sulu scored on a 1-yard plunge for the Monarchs (2-0) final score of the game.
DJ Alpha and Kendall Saxton scored on a 10-yard and a 20-yard run respectively to lead the Rams (0-2) in the loss.
