Jack Deuchar put down 12 kills and Jakob Kimura added nine more to power Punahou over third-seeded Kamehameha-Hawaii in the quarterfinals of the New City Nissan Division I Boys Volleyball Championships Thursday night at Radford's Jim Alegre Gymnasium. Set scores were 25-6, 25-14, 25-19.

The Buffanblu advances to face second-seeded Moanalua in the second semifinal at Na Menehune's home court Friday night.

Kamau Makaike led the Warriors in the loss with eight kills.
