Three players recorded double-digit kills to power Leilehua over Kaiser in four sets in an OIA Division I quarterfinal match at Moanalua Thursday night. Set scores were 25-22, 25-19, 23-25 and 25-16.
Kahakai Kahoiwai had a double-double of 17 kills and 12 digs, Davon Newman added 11 kills and four blocks while Timaye Tatupu did a little bit of everything with 25 assists, 10 kills, five blocks and three aces to lead the Mules (9-2).
Leilehua moves on to face reigning champion Moanalua (11-1) next Monday at Radford's Jim Alegre Gymnasium. First serve is slated for 5:30 p.m.
Kahea Kamalani had 13 kills and four blocks to lead the Cougars (10-3) in the loss.
