Host Radford had its way in a straight set sweep of Roosevelt, 25-13, 25-19, 25-20, at Jim Alegre Gymnasium in the first round of the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I playoffs.

The Rams will meet East second-seed Kaiser Thursday at Waianae's gymnasium in the quarterfinals. The winner of this matchup will clinch a state berth. First serve is slated for 5:30 p.m.

Jeremy Ramos and Micah Sala each had 11 kills to power Radford (9-2) in the win.

Andrew Adachi had four kills, four blocks and eight digs to lead the Rough Riders (4-8) in their season-ending loss.
