Salina Serikawa showed off her wheels Tuesday afternoon.
The Kailua sophomore stole three bases — including home two times — and scored four runs to help lift the Surfriders over visiting Castle, 7-3, in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I East contest.
The Surfriders snapped a three-game losing streak in the process and improved to 5-6 in the league standings while sweeping the season series against the Knights (4-7).
Dyani Cummings-Lani was the winning pitcher in the circle, scattering four hits in a complete game effort while striking out three and walking two. All of the runs charged against her was unearned.
Cummings-Lani also helped her own case with a sac fly in the fifth and sixth inning as Kailua scored five total runs in those stanzas.
Jennika Odo, Bryanna-Marie Soares and Kealoha Machado also scored runs for the Surfriders.
Castle pitcher Mele Turner pitched a complete game in the loss, getting tagged for seven total runs, four of which were unearned.
Dylan Rose Josue had a triple and Rajah Majit-Gorlon went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Knights in the loss.
