Maryknoll and Waiakea are set for a collision course.
After their quarterfinal wins, the two teams will face off in the semifinals of the Snapple/HHSAA Division I Girls Basketball State Championships Friday night at the Neal Blaisdell Center Arena. Tip-off is slated for 7:00 p.m.
To get there, the Spartans dominated KS-Maui for a 67-28 win while the Warriors rallied to beat Kalani in overtime, 55-54. Both games were played at Moanalua's Gymnasium Thursday night.
Maryknoll, the top-ranked team in the state and in the tournament, jumped out to a 18-0 lead and never looked back in its win over the Warriors. All 17 players that checked into the game scored points for the Spartans.

Kimani Fernandez-Roy had seven points and seven rebounds to lead KS-Maui in the loss.
In the earlier quarterfinal, Waiakea was able to outlast fourth-seeded Kalani in a thriller.
Jazelle Dorser led the way with 21 points and 11 rebounds while Kelsie Imai added 14 points and the Warriors' only made 3-pointer.
Alayna Akiona led the Falcons in the loss with 20 points. She also sank a 3-pointer to force overtime.
