Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, Calif.) trampled Kalaheo, 78-54, to cap the opening day of the Iolani Classic on Friday at Iolani's Lower Gymnasium.

The Dragons return to the Classic for the first time since 2014. Naseem Gaskin poured a game-high 26 points and Ross Williams added 18 points and drained three 3-pointers. 

O'Dowd opened with a 28-14 first quarter to take a 45-30 lead at halftime.

Cannen Chiu scored a team-high 18 points inlcuding three 3's and Andrew Kearney added 14 points for the Mustangs in the loss.

The Mustangs drop to the consolation bracket to face the loser of Maryknoll/Greensboro Day at 12 p.m.

The Dragons advance to the winners bracket to take on the winner of Maryknoll/Greensboro Day at 8 p.m.
