Punahou outlasted Kalani, 44-42, in a nail-biter on the final day of the annual Black and Gold Classic Saturday night at McKinley's Student Council Gymnasium.

Three players scored in double figures to lead the Buffanblu to their fifth straight preseason win. Melody Lum had 11 points with one triple and Liana Heshiki and Tamalani Fonoti each chipped in 10 points.

Kandyce Wood had game-high 12 points to lead the Falcons in the loss.
