Braves tryout camp set for Saturday at Mililani

The Atlanta Braves will be holding an open tryout camp for high-school players Saturday at Mililani High School's baseball field.

Registration is 10:15 a.m with tryouts starting at 11 a.m.

The original site was Pearl City High School and date was Sunday, but both have since been changed, Braves' scout Dan Cox said.

The tryout is open to players graduating in classes 2018 to 2021, or incoming seniors to incoming freshmen.  The tryout is to give the Braves an idea of available talent in Hawaii for future drafts.

Players must provide their owns shoes and gloves.

Players must sign a waiver form before participating in the tryout.  It can be downloaded from the Braves' website.
