Michael Johnson had a game-high 13 kills and added 13 digs to lead Hawaii Baptist to a straight set win over Molokai in the semifinals of the New City Nissan/HHSAA Division II Boys Volleyball Championships.
The Eagles made quick work of the Farmers in the first set, winning 25-6, and posted 25-16, and 25-19 wins in set two and three to make their seventh straight state title game appearance.
Kellen Takatsuka added nine kills and Davin Rausch dished out 30 assists for the Eagles in the win.
Molokai got eight kills each from Rockwell Adolpho and Michael Sterner in the loss. Adolpho also led all players with 16 digs.
Hawaii Baptist improved to 22-0 on the year while Molokai dropped to 13-3.
