Mililani clinched a state berth with a 25-21, 25-21, 25-16 win over visiting Campbell in the quarterfinals of the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I playoffs Thursday night.
Sila Fuiava had a double-double of 16 kills and 10 digs and Chance Guillermo dished out 36 assists to help the Trojans advance to next Tuesday's semifinals against Waipahu.
Nathaniel Johnson added 10 kills, Samuel Palompo had seven, Brandon Rabang chipped in six and Andrew Valladares notched five kills to round out Mililani's attack. Libero Jake Lafata led the back row with a match-high 17 digs.
The Sabers were led by Micah Anguay and Ryan Cabanilla, who each had eight kills.
Campbell will face Kaiser in a consolation match for one of the OIA's final spots into the state tournament. The Sabers could potentially be without starting setter Jacob Wessling however. Wessling suffered an apparent right knee injury when Mililani had set point in the second game, and left the game in crutches.
