It's been a while.
Iolani picked up its first win of the season since March 8 with an eight-inning victory over visiting Punahou, 8-7, in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu contest Tuesday afternoon.
The Raiders, who trailed 7-6 after the top of the sixth inning, improved to 3-1-1 and to keep pace with the league leaders while the Buffanblu dropped to 3-2.
Sophomore Aleia Agbayani led Iolani in the win, going 4-for-5 at the plate with a home run, double, two runs scored and the game-winning triple. She also pitched two innings in releif to pick up her first win of the season.
Punahou's Kennedy Ishii was charged with the loss after spelling starter Briahni Alejo after three innings. Both pitchers allowed seven hits apiece to the Raiders.
Kawailana Mielke was the only Punahou player with multiple hits and Alyssa Rasmussen had a triple to lead the Buffanblu at the plate.
