Kaiser keeps winning with 6-0 defeat of Kalaheo

Kaiser picked up its third straight win of the season with a 6-0 win over Kalaheo Wednesday afternoon at Kailua District Park.

The Cougars, who evened their record at 3-3 in the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I East Conference standings, saw four players combined for a one-hitter against the Mustangs, who dropped to 0-6.

Kaiser starter Adam Wroe picked up the win, striking out three while walking one in two innings of work. Jakey Nam, Cody Dela Cruz and Tyler Bender also spent time on the mound for the Cougars.

Leadoff hitter Kainoa Craig went  1-for-2 at the plate with a triple and a run scored to lead the Cougars. Kainoa Torres and Keoni Pangan had multiple RBIs to round out the key batters for Kaiser.

Lono Hussey had the lone hit of the game for the Mustangs.
