Late-game heroics by Tare Rillion and Chelsie DePonte lifted PAC-5 over KS-Hawaii, 3-2, in the Division II state tournament quarterfinal round Thursday afternoon at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex.
Rillion scored the tying goal in the 70th minute and DePonte push through the go-ahead score in the 75th minute to power the Wolfpack into the semifinal round of The Queen's Medical Center/HHSAA Division II state tournament.
PAC-5, the Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division II champion and third-seeded team in the 12-team tourney, will play second-seeded Kapaa Friday in a 3 p.m. semifinal in the soccer complex's main stadium.
After a scoreless first half, KS-Hawaii drew first blood in the 48th minute on Hiwa Brown's third goal of the state tournament.
Rillion, who last scored on Jan. 10 against Mid-Pacific, knotted things up at 1-1 10 minutes later.
The Warriors' Hevani Haunga retook the lead two minutes later with her 14th goal of the season before PAC-5 rallied for the victory.
