Hawaii-East wins JPS title over NorCal, 26-14


 





Hawaii-East won the second annual Junior Prep Sports Paradise Football Classic over NorCal with a 26-14 win Saturday night.

The home team held a 12-point lead with 2:59 left in the fourth quarter when the game was suspended due to fans fighting in the bleachers at Hawaiian Tel Federal Credit Union Field at Aloha Stadium.

Quarterbacks Alakai Yuen and Taulia Tagovailoa each threw for two touchdowns to power Hawaii-East in the victory.

NorCal quarterback Jordan Brookshire rush and passed for a score to lead the visitors in the loss.
